Punjab Govt approves 4 development schemes at an estimated cost of Rs. 3360.921 mln

The Punjab Government on Thursday approved four development schemes of Energy Sector, Urban Development and District Program Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 3360.921 million.

These schemes were approved in the 11th meeting of Provincial Development working Party of current fiscal year 2013-14 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi.

All members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.

According to handout issued by the Spokesman P&D Department, the approved development schemes included: Conservation of Energy through Solar Powered LED Streetlights in Lahore (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 60.00 million, Preparation of Master Plan for Water Supply, Sewerage & Drainage System for Lahore (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 130.643 million, Rehabilitation / Replacement of Existing Pumping Machinery at Inline Booster Pump Station & Terminal Reservoir Pump Station, Faisalabad (Concept Clearance Paper) at the cost of Cost Rs. 1769.23 million and Sustainable Development of Walled City of Lahore Project (PMU-SDWCL) at the cost of Rs. 1401.048 million.
