Countries making plans to overcome energy crisis

The energy crisis is a global phenomenon and several countries are making plans to overcome energy shortage, which is feared to emerge in the near future, Colin Mander, regional director of Gardner Denver and expert from Germany, said.

In a seminar on fuel and air efficiency, organised by manufacturers of world’s most prominent air-compressors – Compare, Gardner Denver’s Pakistani representative Rastgar Ltd, in Karachi, he said that Pakistan is on top of those industrial cities where the energy crisis has gone out of proportions.

Pakistani industries will have to adopt fuel and air efficiency and could save a significant amount of the energy cost by adopting latest techniques, he said.

He claimed that if the industries complied with the safety and conservation manuals, the air-compressors’ cost could be paid off in just two to three years. He advised the industrialists to get updated with the latest techniques of the energy conservation and fuel efficiency.

Mander visited Karachi’s industrial zones to hold meetings with the industrialists and deliver lectures about technological efficiency of air compressors and blowers.

He also inaugurated the expansion of Sales and Service Centre of Rastgar. Mander has inaugurated the new and expanded premises and the service and training facilities developed at their new premises.

The Gardner Denver team also visited the expanded Air End Service Department with technicians trained and certified at the CompAir manufacturing plant at Simmern Germany and designed to cater to the needs of air ends refurbishing from world-wide customers.

CompAir is the leading Air Compressor Brand from Gardner Denver with a 60 years history of sales and service in Pakistan.
