Pepco gets fuel for power generation

LAHORE  – The Pakistan Electric Power Company (Private) Limited (Pepco) has started receiving fuel for power generation and the closed plants are returning to system. DG Pepco said on the directions of Prime Minister Gilani, the utility is getting fuel and 2000MW of electricity would soon be added to the grid. Instructions have been issued for scheduled loadshedding for all the cities of Punjab including Lahore, he said. The Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has been paid Rs 20 billion and the issue of outstanding Rs 150 billion would be settled soon, he said.
